Intel launches first Atom-based Smartphone Lava XOLO X900

Intel launches it’s first Atom based smartphone Xolo X900 in association with Indian based mobile maker LAVA. The device was first announced at MWC, Barcelona in Febraury.

Lava Xolo X900 is powered by Atom 1.6GHz processor with Intel patented hyper threading technology and 1GB RAM. The device runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and is upgradable to Android 4.0 ICS over the air later.

The phone is built with 16GB of internal memory. Xolo X900 also features a 8.0MP HD camera that can click upto 10 pictures in less than a second with a resolution up to 1080p.

Coming to the networks Xolo X900 supports both 3G and 2G i.e, HSPA+, WCDMA and EDGE/GPRS networks. The phone also is WiFi enabled and has all basic connectivity options like USB(2.0), Bluetooth(2.1), WLAN support and more.

Xolo X900 comes with a 1460mAh, 3.7V battery and gives up to 15.5 hours talk time in 2G mode and up to 7.8 hours in 3G mode. The phone can also play up to 44 hours of audio and up to 6 hours of video.

LAVA priced Xolo X900 at Rs.22000 and will open sales from 23rd April at Croma stores and www.xolo.in. The phone will be made available in all other online stores and retail stores from early May.
