Samsung Galaxy S3 (S III) released, Coming Soon to India
After many rumors, speculations and leaks, ending up all of them, Samsung finally in the London event on 3rd May has released it’s Galaxy S3, the new version of Galaxy S range smartphones. The company also releases full specifications and features of Galaxy S III.
The phone is powered by 1.4 GHz Exynos 4212 quadcore processor with 1GB of RAM and runs on Google’s latest mobile OS Android 4.0 ICS. It also has a 4.8″ Super AMOLED display with resolution of 1280×720 pixels.
This latest Galaxy S series phone features a 8MP rear camera with auto focus which can record HD videos at 30fps and a 1.9MP front camera. Coming to the storage S3 phones in initial batch will come with 16GB and 32GB internal memory options and expandable with microSD cards sizing up to 64GB.
The dimensions of the phone are 136.3×70.6×8.6mm and weighs about 133 grams. The other specs include powerful 2100 mAh battery, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0(LE). And connectivity point of view it supports both 2.5G, 3G(HSPA+ 21Mbps) networks and also supports 4G LTE (Dependent on market).
Galaxy S3 is the successor for Galaxy S2 which was released in April last year, and is one of the most anticipated phones this year. This latest phone from Samsung is speculated to be the best competitor for the Apple’s latest iPhone 4S which was introduced in October last year and the upcoming iPhone 5.
The company said the phone will go on sale in 145 countries and also says that Galaxy SIII would soon be coming to the Indian market too. Stayed tuned for full specs, price and other features.
